Today, we are focusing on a common phenomenon experienced by travelers and expats: culture shock. Living in a foreign country can sometimes be difficult. Indeed, differences in cultures and habits can make one feel a bit lost and lonely. Culture shock affects people living far from home. It’s a feeling of personal disorientation when experiencing a new and unfamiliar way of life. A person undergoing culture shock can go through four different phases: honeymoon, negotiation, adjustment, and adaptation.
